Supreme Court Upholds Affordable Health Care Law

The U.S. Supreme Court voted 5-4 today to uphold President Obama's health care bill, known as the Affordable Care Act.

The bill will allow young adults to stay on their parents' health insurance until the age of 26 and ban health insurance companies from denying coverage to those with pre-exisiting conditions. Justices ruled that the bill's mandate that all Americans be required to have health insurance or face a penalty was within the Consitutional power of Congress to collect taxes.
