Teen Rescued in Human Trafficking Arrests
Dallas teen turned over to Department of Family and Children's Services after two adults arrested in Glynn County.
A Dallas teen is receiving support from the state’s Department of Family and Children’s Services after two adults were arrested for human trafficking and other charges in Glynn County.
On Saturday, an off-duty communications supervisor with Glynn-Brunswick spotted a vehicle in a mall parking lot that had been reported stolen a day earlier, according to Glynn County Police.
An patrol officer performed a traffic stop, identifying Robert Seabrum, 39 of Atlanta and Leandra Edwards, 23 of Forest Park. A 17-year-old girl from Dallas was also in car.

After an investigation Seabrum was charged with Human Trafficking, Sexual Exploitation of Children, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Edwards was charged with Human Trafficking, Sexual Exploitation and Theft by Conversion.

The teen was not arrested and was later turned over to the custody of the children’s services.
