Theresa Gail Driskell, 55, Dies

Funeral services for Ms. Theresa Driskell were held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home today with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating.

Theresa Gail Driskell, 55 of Hiram, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at her residence.

Theresa, the daughter of the late Mrs. Jerrie Miller Burger, was born on June 15, 1958 in Atlanta. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather Coy Miller and grandmother Evelyn Newkirk.

Theresa was of the Christian Faith. She was self-employed in Construction Clean-up. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing and playing in the dirt. Theresa loved people, she had a good heart and always found the good in every one.

She is survived by two daughters Mr. & Mrs. Rusty (Misty) Conlan and Mr. & Mrs. William (Kristy) Carroll both of Waco; six grandchildren Ashley Ray of N.C., Courtney Ray, Lily Carroll, Chase Ray, Tori Carroll, and Kylie Carroll all of Waco; three brothers Mr. (David Herring) & Amanda of Douglasville, Mr. & Mrs. (Chuck) Valerie Worthy of Dallas, and Mr. Bill Herring of Powder Springs; one sister Mrs. Vicky Handley of Hiram; two aunts Mrs. Martha Powell of Jonesboro, and Mr. & Mrs. James (Pat) Woodruff; cousin Mr. & Mrs. Gene (Renee) Bennett; several other cousins, nieces, nephews, boyfriend Mr. Glen Davis and many beloved friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Theresa Driskell were held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home today with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. Rusty Conlan, William Carroll, Chase Ray, Chuck Worthy, Bill Herring, and David Herring will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
