Update: Overturned Log Truck Dusrupts Traffic on Dallas Roadway

The incident occurred in the area of Merchants Drive at Nathan Dean Blvd.

Update: Normal traffic has resumed after a Monday afternoon accident involving an overturned log truck in Dallas.

Dallas Police said the accident happened during the noon hour near the intersection of Merchants Drive and Nathan Dean Blvd, blocking traffic for about an hour, then detouring traffic as the logs were reloaded on another truck.

Police sent out several alerts during the afternoon via Nixle.
