Paulding County E-911 Communications Center sent the following Nixle alerts around 6 p.m.

Advisory: AVOID MAIN ST FROM H92 TO CHURCH ST UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to SNOW AND ICE. Some roads closed.

Advisory: AVOID DALLAS ST FROM H92 TO HUNT ST UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to SNOW AND ICE. Some roads closed.

Paulding County authorities are saying roads are becoming icy in the areas, and residents should stay off the roads, if possible.

The Paulding County Sheriff’’s Office posted this on Facebook:

Roads on the western side of the county are beginning to get slick. Please do not drive on the roadways unless it is necessary.

The Paulding County E-911 Communications Center sent this Nixle alert just after 4 p.m.
