Vietnam War Vet Charles Allen Lochamy, 69, Dies

Charles Allen Lochamy, 69 of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29. He was born in Birmingham, AL., Sept. 20, 1944, to Dorothy Barnes Lochamy and the late, Walter Lochamy. Mr. Lochamy was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lochamy; sisters, Ann Stoker and Edna Lee Lochamy; and grandparents, Arthur & Beulah Lochamy and Judson & Gertie Barnes. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a carpenter for 30 years.

Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Allen & Michelle Lochamy of Powder Springs, GA; mother, Dorothy Lochamy of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Roger & Lori Lochamy of Yorkville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Martha Thomason of Dallas, GA, Gail Maner of Stockbridge, GA, Sonya Osborne of Hiram, GA, and Kathy & Brad Hames of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Colin Lochamy and Ethan Lochamy; aunt, Cenie B. Clark of Douglasville, GA; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends today at Clark Funeral Home, from noon until the service time.
