Photos from East Paulding High School's graduation ceremony Friday.

Families, faculty and friends celebrated the commencement exercise for East Paulding High School's class of 2011 Friday evening. It was a warm night, but spirits were high as 350 students said farewell to high school life.

With 80 students graduating with honors, principal Scott Viness said he was proud of the graduating class. Senior Taylor Wager began the ceremony with a moving rendition National Anthem. Honor graduate Chelsea Mahadeo reminisced on the fun the senior student body had in their four years together. Emily Noethe welcomed all the attendees, followed by Viness presenting the highest honor awards.

Salutatorian recipient Justin Taylor spoke of being yourself throughout life, while  valedictorian Kristin Henry paid tribute to her mother and influential teachers.  Senior Hayden Petettia presented the senior gift to Helping Hands of Paulding County.
