Weather Update: How Much Snow Will Fall on Dallas-Hiram, and When?

Paulding County could get more than 4 inches of snow in Wednesday’s winter storm, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

The weather service forecasts Paulding County will get between 3 and 5 inches of snow by the time the storm system leaves town (see attached forecast map above).
Rain and snow will begin after 1 p.m., the weather service said, dropping 1 to 3 inches during the daytime. Another 1-3 inches could fall tonight.

Detailed forecast for Dallas-Hiram from the National Weather Service:
Wednesday: Rain and snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 37. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Wednesday night: Snow, mainly before 1am. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 31. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
