Weather Update: 'Looks Like Paulding Dodged Bullet'
The wintry weather is expected to bypass Dallas and Hiram.

Looks like Paulding County dodged a “winter weather” bullet. According to forecasters, we are in the clear.
The National Weather moved its Winter Weather Advisory northward Monday, removing nearly all of metro Atlanta from the list, including Paulding County. Most of metro Atlanta had been included in the advisory, which was initially issued Sunday afternoon.

The advisory remains in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday, the the area has shrunk to northwest Georgia, from Cherokee and Bartow to the Alabama and Tennessee lines. A Winter Storm Warning, with an inch of snow and up to a half-inch of ice, is in effect for northeast Georgia.
What Dallas, Hiram and the rest of Paulding County can count on mostly rain Monday and Tuesday, with a slight chance of some freezing precip. No accumulation is expected.
The low tonight will be 28. Tuesday will have a high of 40 with windy conditions.
