WellStar Paulding Volunteers Donate $100,000 For Healthcare

The donations will go to healthcare programs for children, expectant mothers, cancer patients and others at the Dallas hospital.

DALLAS, GA — WellStar Paulding Hospital volunteers have donated $100,000 to the WellStar Foundation in support of healthcare initiatives at the hospital.

Throughout the past year, 140 individuals volunteered nearly 25,000 hours in the gift shop and hosting vendor events. These sales, along with personal donations, were directly reinvested back into the community through hospital projects and programs selected by volunteer leaders.

"It’s the people – the volunteers, patients, team members, business leaders and community philanthropists – who allow us to better serve our loved ones in the community," said Gene Weeks, WellStar Foundation development director. "Because of them, we are able to achieve our goal of exceeding patient expectations every day."
