Wild Ride: Man Jumps from I-75 Bridge Into Lake Allatoona After Long Police Chase
The Paulding Sheriff's Office says the man faces more than 20 charges after taking police on chase through Paulding, Bartow and Cobb.

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said a man took police on a chase through three counties before jumping into Lake Allatoona from an I-75 bridge in an attempt to get away.
Bradley Turner, who was reportedly drinking and smoking cigarettes throughout the chase, was caught when he swam ashore.
He was booked into the Paulding County jail on Oct. 18, according to jail records.

He faces more than 20 charges, from DUI and reckless driving, to attempting to elude police.
The sheriff’s office shared on its Facebook page a Fox5 report on the incident, including dashboard video. The video shows Turner speeding away in a pickup truck, ramming a police patrol car and exiting his truck at the bridge.

The sheriff’s office told the TV station the chase last around 45 minutes and included law enforcement officers from Paulding, Bartow and Cobb counties.
The chase originated in Paulding County, where deputies approached Turner to question him about a reported hit-and-run. That’s when he drove off.
