A Washington Post-Survey Monkey poll of all 50 states that was released on Monday shows Georgia tied between Clinton and Donald Trump.

The two candidates are investing campaign resources in Georgia, which Democrats hope to turn into a battleground state in November. Former president Bill Clinton was in Atlanta last month, while Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, made a two-day campaign stop immediately afterward.

President Barack Obama was also in Atlanta raising money for Clinton right after the Democratic National Convention.

Georgia has consistently voted Republican in recent White House elections.
