9 Arrested In Douglas Warrant Roundup
Douglas County authorities also helped arrest a 16 year old wanted for another teen's murder on Thursday.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Nine people were arrested in Douglas County on Thursday as law enforcement officers conducted a roundup of folks with outstanding warrants.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and officers with the Department of Community Supervision combined forces on the roundup, which targeted people accused of violating their probation.
Of the nine people arrested, seven were taken into custody for probation violation, the sheriff's office said. Two more were arrested for drugs found at the homes where the warrants were served.

Deputies say the roundup also led to information about numerous other people currently wanted in the county and where they may be staying.
Also Thursday, the Douglas County Fugitive and Warrant division worked with U.S. Marshals to help arrest a 16-year-old suspect charged with the murder of an 18 year old recently in Paulding County.
