16 Year Old Arrested For Murder In Dallas

The teen is accused of shooting and killing one 18 year old and shooting another in the leg, injuring him.

DALLAS, GA — A 16 year old was arrested on murder charges Thursday for a Dallas shooting earlier this month in which one teen was killed and another injured.

Paulding County Sheriff's Office deputies and marshals with the U.S. Marshals Service took Darnell Isaiah Priester into custody at his mother's home in Douglasville. Priester is charged with one count of murder, four counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery.

While he is a juvenile, Priester is being charged as an adult. He is being held without bond at the Rome Youth Detention Center.

Dallas Police say that on Friday, Aug. 18, Priester shot and killed Tommy Robinson and wounded 18-year-old Timothy Nelson, shooting him in the leg.

Robinson was a 2017 graduate of Paulding County High School who played on the football and basketball teams there. Police say the shooting was part of a long-running feud between two groups of teens who either attended the high school or had formerly gone there.
