DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglas County man accused of trying to slice his victim's neck while she was sleeping has been arrested, authorities say.

The sheriff's office had not released details early Thursday on details of the crime, including Oliver's relationship to the victim and the weapon believed to have been used in the attack.
Oliver is being charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery, Daniel said. He has waived an extradition hearing and will be transported back to Douglas County on Tuesday.
