Back to School: Camera-Equipped Buses Aimed at Slowing Down Stop-Arm Violations

Fines can be $300 to $1,000 for passing a bus stopped to pick up, drop off kids.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office posted the following warning to area motorists with the start of the school year this Wednesday:

Douglas County Schools are back in session next Wednesday (sorry, kids). This means that school buses will be back on the road.
