Barbara Ann Buchanan Huckeba, 60, Dies

Barbara Ann Buchanan Huckeba, 60 of Carrollton, passed away Monday, Aug. 12. She was born on Oct. 28, 1952 in Carrollton, to Mable Walker Buchanan and the late Jeff Buchanan Jr. She was a very loving woman and while working took care of her mother daily. She was a member of Shiloh Church in Lowell.

Besides her father, preceding her in death is a brother, Ronald Junior Buchanan. She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Huckeba Jr. of Carrollton; mother, Mable Walker Buchanan of Carrollton; sons and daughters in law, Chuck and Sarah Huckeba, Charles “PeeWee” and Jackie Huckeba, Matt and Elizabeth Huckeba, and Josh and Jessica Huckeba, all of Carrollton; daughter and son in law, Jan and Charles Miller of Carrollton; sister, Brenda Timms of Carrollton; brothers and sister in law, Randy Buchanan, and Ruchard and Tammy Buchanan, all of Carrollton; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, from Shiloh Church with Rev. Wayne Webb and Rev. Randy Buchanan officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Josh Wilson, Randy Huckeba, Mark Huckeba, Ben Huckeba, Charles Timms, and Charles Huckeba.
