Braves' Chris Johnson Scheduled at New Academy Sports + Outdoors Store
The new Douglasville store has grand-opening celebrations this weekend.
Braves third baseman Chris Johnson will be at the new Academy Sports + Outdoors in Douglasville during the store’s grand-opening weekend.
Johnson is scheduled to be at the store 11 a.m.-noon on May 10.
The grand-opening celebration is scheduled Friday-Sunday, with several events planned, including giveaways, games for kids, product demos and interaction with pros who represent brands sold at the store.
