Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County

You are invited to our next Volunteer Luncheon at the CAC! The event will be held on Thursday, May 8th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the historic Cultural Arts Center house located at 8652 Campbellton St. Douglasville 30135. The CAC will be hosting lunch, a volunteer information session, and a creative activity. Volunteering at the CAC is a great way to make a positive difference in Douglasville/Douglas County while also meeting fellow art enthusiasts.RSVP by emailing: <a href="mailto:rhonda.hambrick@artsdouglas.org" rel="noopener">rhonda.hambrick@artsdouglas.org</a>
CAC volunteers&nbsp;answer the phone, maintain guest and call logs, provide information to visitors about Douglas County and the CAC facilities, inform people about programs and exhibits, assist in registering students for art classes, and answer questions about the Douglas County arts community for visitors and tourists. Volunteers also help with mailings and program promotions and assist the staff with the everyday operations of the Cultural Arts Council.

The Church Street Farmers Market opens for the 2026 season on May 5th from 3pm to 6:30pm.
The Church Street Farmers Market features locally grown produce, cut flowers, homemade breads, jams, jellies, vinegars and sweets, meat and seafood, local raw honey, handmade crafts, soaps, candles, and more. The market also partners with Georgia Fresh For Less to double up to $50 of SNAP/EBT benefits for fresh produce.
Free parking is available along Church Street and at the parking deck next to the Douglasville Conference Center.

We promise no fancy terms or baking stress-just laughter, simple steps, and time to pet, walk, feed and take pictures with the Alpacas.

By participating in Taste of Douglasville, visitors help the Cultural Arts Council to support affordable spring and summer arts camps, free ARTSVentures! curriculum-based school performances, critically acclaimed gallery exhibits at the historic Roberts-Mozley House, and many more special events like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.&nbsp;
For over thirty years, the CAC has celebrated the coming of summer with a Taste of Douglasville festivity. On Saturday, May 16th from 11 am – 5 pm, the Douglasville Town Green will be filled with beautiful handmade arts &amp; crafts, better living vendors, kids Korner, Sponsors, performers, and so much more. Tasting tickets are only $1 a ticket. Taste of Douglasville is the Cultural Arts Council’s largest fundraising event of the year.
