The ABWA Douglas County Charter Chapter invites the community to celebrate American Business Women’s Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
American Business Women’s Day is observed annually on September 22 and recognizes the achievements and contributions of women in business and the workplace. The Douglas County Charter Chapter is celebrating early with a morning of professional development, inspiration, networking, and community connection.
Featured presenters include:
Dr. Hope “Lead with Clarity. Lead with Purpose. Lead with Impact.”
Tai G. Cochran “POWERING Ambition into Action”
Attendees will also enjoy breakfast, networking, and door prizes while connecting with local professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and ABWA members.

Free American Business Women’s Day Celebration Coming to Douglasville

Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County displays another year of exceptional talent from across the country at the National Juried Arts Show.
The NJAS exhibit will be displayed September 2nd – 29th at the CAC gallery, Monday- Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on September 10th, 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Douglas County Art Guild. Refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public.
Come view the presentation of prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd&nbsp;place, Honorable Mention, and the DCAG award for a particularly remarkable work of art.
Come back throughout September to tour the exhibit and cast your vote for your favorite artwork. At the end of the month, one last cash prize will be presented for the People’s Choice award.
