- Tree Lighting and Visit from Santa: Spark the season's spirit with the City of Douglasville's Celebration of Lights Virtual Kickoff on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 6:30pm. Experience our annual tree lighting and a special visit from Santa on the City of Douglasville’s Facebook page and on YouTube at mycititv.com. Download our special "Celebration of Lights Coloring Page".
- Deck the Homes Holiday Decorating Contest: Douglas County residents are invited show their holiday spirit and enter their decorated homes into the Deck the Homes Decorating Contest. Judges will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place homes. A “People’s Choice Award” will be decided by a public response on the City of Douglasville’s Facebook page.
- Letters From Santa: The City of Douglasville is helping deliver letters to Santa this year. And even better, Santa's Elves are working to help him write letters back to kids. Letters can be dropped off in the North Pole mailbox which will be located outside of the Douglasville Conference Center.
