Cowboy Festival Set For Saturday In Villa Rica
There will be cowboy shows throughout the day and the Webster Creek Gunslingers will be robbing the train as well.

VILLA RICA, GA — The second annual Pine Mountain Gold Museum Cowboy Festival will be held April 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be food vendors, and lots of live music. There will be cowboy shows throughout the day and the Webster Creek Gunslingers will be robbing the train as well. There will be demonstrations of historic firearms at the Cowboy Village, and blacksmith demonstrations at the Live Animal Exhibit. This year you can get up close and personal with our beloved donkey (Eeyore) and our resident Ox (Nugget) during several meet-and-greets scheduled throughout the day.
Live music begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues through the day. Mining demonstrations will be at 1 p.m. Train robberies begin at 11 a.m. and continue through the day. Cowboy Village demonstrations will be at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Blacksmithing demonstrations begin at 11 a.m. and continue through the day. Meet and greet with Eeyore and Nugget will be at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
On Sunday, the Cowboy Church begins at 11 a.m. Live music begins at 12:30 p.m. and continues throughout the day. Train robberies begin at noon and continue through the day. Cowboy Village demonstration at 2 p.m. Meet and greet with Eeyore and Nugget will be at 1 and 3 p.m.

The festival is free to attend. Train tickets are $5 each. Children under 2 are free. Gold and gemstone panning is $5 per pan. Larger family buckets are available. Museum entrance is $5 for adults, $4 for children 2-12, and seniors 55+. Children under 2 are free with an adult. All demonstrations, browsing the vendors, and live music is free.
