Deck The Homes Holiday Decorating Contest

Show off your holiday spirit by participating in the City of Douglasville's "Deck the Homes" Holiday Decorating Contest!

• Participation is open to all Douglas County residents
• Entry is free
• Employees of the City of Douglasville may participate, but are not eligible to win judged prizes
• Entry applications must be submitted no later than December 6 at 11:59 PM
• Contest is for exterior decorations only, including those in windows that are visible from the street
• You must submit a jpeg photo of your decorated home to be used for voting with your registration
• You may submit up to 10 photos
• Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated residence posted on the City of Douglasville website and/or City of Douglasville’s social media pages
• Judging will take place virtually the week of December 7 and winners will be announced on the City of Douglasville’s Facebook page on Friday, December 11
• The home photo that receives the most likes on the City of Douglasville's Facebook page will receive the People’s Choice Award

Awards will also be presented to the top 3 winners based on these criteria:

1. Creativity: Theme & storyline
2. Originality: Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations
3. Arrangement: Display and placement of decorations
4. Overall Presentation
