Diana P. Tankersley, 55, Dies

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, with Bro. Troy Blackwelder officiating.

Diana P. Tankersley, 55 of Carrollton, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19. She was born July 9, 1958 in Tallahassee, FL., the daughter of the late Carl Parker, Sr. and Edith Cravey Parker. She was a member of the Message of Christ Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Jim Ed Parker, Carl Parker, Jr., Paul Parker and Henry Parker; and sister, Sandra Creamer. Survivors include her husband, Everett Tankersley of Carrollton; daughters: Stephanie Roman of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and Talisha Blackwelder and husband David of Carrollton; sister, Annette Wilson of Jacksonville, Florida; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, with Bro. Troy Blackwelder officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the hour of service.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, the body will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be ma de to the Diana P. Tankersley Memorial Fund at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel.
