Douglas County High Schools Make "Most Challenging" List
Douglas County and Chapel Hill High Schools made the Washington Post's "America's Most Challenging High Schools" list.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA -- The Washington Post's "America's Most Challenging High Schools" list recognizes schools with good numbers in advanced placement and test scores. Douglas County claimed two spots on that list with Douglas County High School and Chapel Hill High School.
The list is based on the number of advanced placement students as well as test scores on the International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests.
On a national scale, Douglas County High School placed at number 745 on the list, and Chapel Hill High School placed 1,567, according to a press release from the Douglas County School System.

Superintendent Trent North said "We are proud that Douglas County and Chapel Hill High Schools are challenging their students to a rigorous curriculum.
"We will continue to evaluate and add challenging courses at these schools and the other high schools in our district," he said.
