Students and teachers will assemble "Buckets of Care" to deliver to flooding victims in south Georgia and Florida.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County schools are collecting "Buckets of Care" items for flood victims impacted by Hurricane Irma in south Georgia and Florida.

"For those who have wanted to help those in need but didn't know how, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference," the school system said in a news release.

Community members may drop off any of the supplies listed below at any Douglas County public school from Sept. 18-22. Students and teachers will assemble the buckets and get them to an organization that will distribute them to people impacted by flooding.
