Douglas Deputy's Home Shot Up, Sheriff Offers Reward
The shooting happened Monday evening in Paulding County.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County's sheriff is offering up a $10,000 reward, and some harsh words, as investigators try to find whoever shot up the home of one of his deputies Monday.
"I will spare no expense or resources until you are caught," Sheriff Phil Miller said in a statement shared on Facebook.
The shooting happened at about 8:50 p.m. Monday on Sweetwater Bridge Circle in Paulding County.

The deputy who lives in the home wasn't there, but was in the area and heard the shots, according to a news release.
When he returned to his house, he found a bullet hole in a window. Sheriff's deputies arrived and found several other bullet holes in the building.

No one was injured in the shooting, Miller said. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office said it's unknown at this time whether the shooting was random or the deputy was personally targeted.
Miller said the $10,000 offer is good through December 31.
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is the lead agency in the investigation, with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisting.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact either of those two agencies.
