Douglasville City Clerk Vicki Acker was honored for her completion of the Georgia Clerks Education Institute Masters Education Management Development Program.

The program is a 60-hour curriculum developed in cooperation with the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government, the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association and the Georgia County Clerks Association. The classes are taught by Institute of Government instructional faculty. Upon completion of the coursework, participants must complete a project and reflection paper to earn the certificate.
"The program provides an opportunity for certified city and county clerks to continue supervisory and management development and professional growth", said Claire Kinane, Georgia Clerks Education Institute Director.
