Douglasville Mall Brawl Captured On Camera

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville authorities who are investigating a brawl at Arbor Place Mall and Regal Cinemas Saturday are urging parents to be more mindful of their children's activities.

The Douglasville Police Department said in a news release there was no gunfire or evidence of a person being shot. Police also said charges are coming for anyone who committed criminal acts.

Police said situations involving a lack of supervision go beyond Douglasville, adding incidents that seem innocent can rapidly turn negative.

"We, as law enforcement, look at the criminal aspect of these incidents. Something they may think is a prank, joke, or 'challenge' can quickly turn into a serious incident and become criminal in nature. The mall security officers and theater security are not there to raise your children. It is your responsibility to raise your children and ensure their safety," police said in the release.
