SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The body of a 25-year-old man was recovered Saturday evening after he fell from a cliff into the Chattahoochee River, Sandy Springs police said.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office and Sandy Springs police detectives are also investigating the death, Worsham added.

"With large amounts of rain, river levels and currents are at extremely dangerous levels," Worsham added." We ask all to avoid the river until water levels and the current return to safe levels for swimming."
