Douglasville Raid Nets Drugs, Stolen Items (ICYMI)
So many stolen goods were found that it took two days to find and collect them all, Paulding County sheriff's officials say.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — What started out as a drug raid in south Paulding County netted plenty of drugs, but also more stolen items than officers could collect in a single day, authorities say.
On Thursday, deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office were called to 786 Silverthorn Circle, a Douglasville address in southern Paulding, in reference to reported drug activity.
Upon arriving they met with the home's occupants and reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana. The officers contacted agents with the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force, who responded to the scene as well.

Detectives called in two moving trucks to carry all of the items to the sheriff's office. Detectives and Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents are still investigating the theft case to try to determine where the items came from.
The investigation remained ongoing Monday and more charges are possible, the sheriff's office said.
