Duluth Motorcyclist Dead After Forsyth Crash: Police
A Duluth motorcyclist is dead after a crash with a Honda Odyssey Saturday at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Sharon Road.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — A Duluth motorcyclist is dead after a crash with a Honda Odyssey Saturday at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Sharon Road.
Gregory Smith, 64, of Duluth, died at the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and a Honda Odyssey. According to Deputy First Class Andy Ives, traffic investigator, Smith was pronounced deceased at North Fulton Hospital once transported there by ambulance.
The investigation has determined that a 2018 Harley Davidson Electra-Glide, operated by Smith, was traveling north on Peachtree Parkway approaching its intersection with Sharon Road. A 2016 Honda Odyssey which was preparing a left turn from southbound Peachtree Parkway onto Sharon Road, turned in front of the Harley Davidson causing the Harley Davidson to strike the Honda, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The 2016 Honda Odyssey was being operated by 39 year-old Vivekanandan Kandasamy, from Cumming, and a juvenile female family member as a passenger. No injuries from the Honda Odyssey.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Traffic Specialist Unit.
