Emily Ann Allen, 60, Dies

Emily Ann Allen, 60 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1953 in Carroll County, to the late James W. Lester and Jessa Brown Lester. She worked as an RN with Haralson Nursing and Rehab for more than eighteen years.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Allen. Survivors include son, Jason Allen of Carrollton; daughter and son in law, Vanessa and Lamonte Morris of Carrollton; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Robert Pedroza of Ozark, Ala.; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 3, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lemonte Morris, Wayne Gann, Chris McGraw, Kelsey Phillips, Tim Hayes, David Hayes, Barry Hayes, and Robert Pedroza.
