A fatal traffic accident on Interstate 20 eastbound has traffic backed up into Douglas County early Thursday afternoon, according to reports.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that the accident happened on I-20 near Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Fulton County. Three lanes were blocked.
WSB-TV reported the wreck involved two tractor-trailers and a third vehicle. One fatality was confirmed and there were no other injuries reported.

The backup was past Thornton Road in the early afternoon, the sheriff’s office said.
