Midway United Methodist Church: Spring Fling

Taste of Douglasville

Annually, the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County has celebrated the coming of summer with a Taste of Douglasville festivity and this year, the 25th festival, is no different

On Saturday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the downtown Douglasville area will be full of residents and visitors enjoying warm weather, eating great food, enjoying local performers, visiting community booths aplenty, all alongside several thousand new friends. A special Kids Korner will keep the smallest citizens entertained and active. 12,000 people attended Taste of Douglasville last year, continuing its tradition as the one-day biggest festival in town!

Golden City Car Cruise

Villa Rica

The Golden City Cruisers Car Club operates in Villa Rica, GA and was organized in November of 2001. The club is made up of car enthusiasts and stresses family values and camaraderie. Club membership is open to anyone. Ownership of a classic car or street rod is not required. Fundraisers are held at each Cruise-in and all proceeds are earmarked for disbursement to local charities.

Night Ranger Live

The gates open at 1:30 p.m. Music starts at 2 p.m. Opening acts are: Shyanne, Half Step Down, Reckless Dawn, and Bent Fender. A Fireworks Finale will be held following the Night Ranger performance. Online tickets are $20 and at the gates tickets are $25. Food trucks will be available so no coolers.
