Infant, Skylynn Mae Michelle, Dies

Skylynn Mae Michelle Hoffert Barber, infant daughter of Matthew Lynn Barber Jr. and Silver Mae Hoffert of Carrollton, passed away Saturday Aug. 17. She was born June 16, 2013 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was only here for a short time but touch so many hearts during her life.

She leaves behind both her parents; a big brother, Elijiah Mickey Hoffert; grandmothers, Sherrie Barber and Jeanette Battles; great great grandparents, Foster Lee and Brenda Akins, Marjorie Sutterfield and Shirley Kiser.

Graveside services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today, from noon till 1:30 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
