KDB Plants Trees For 2021 Arbor Day
For Arbor Day 2021, several members of the Douglasville Tree Board planted six fruit trees at the Mill Village Community Garden.

For Arbor Day 2021, several members of the Douglasville Tree Board planted six fruit trees at the Mill Village Community Garden. Two apple, two plum and two fig trees were added to the garden. The trees were provided through a grant from the Atlanta Local Food Initiative (ALFI ). These trees are part of the planned food forest at the community garden. Two Blueberry bushes were also granted by ALFI, and will be planted on the site once beds have been established.
