DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A man was arrested in Cobb County on Tuesday for the October 2015 shooting death of a man in Douglas County.Darryl Barksdale is being held at Douglas County Adult Detention Center, charged with malice murder, felony murder, first-degree home invasion, first-degree burglary and aggravated assault.Barksdale is charged in the October 7, 2015 death of 29-year-old Marc Foster at the Birch Landing apartment complex in Lithia Springs. He was arrested without incident at the Windwood apartment complex in Austell by Cobb County Police.This is a developing story. The Church Street Farmers Market opens for the 2026 season on May 5th from 3pm to 6:30pm.The Church Street Farmers Market features locally grown produce, cut flowers, homemade breads, jams, jellies, vinegars and sweets, meat and seafood, local raw honey, handmade crafts, soaps, candles, and more. The market also partners with Georgia Fresh For Less to double up to $50 of SNAP/EBT benefits for fresh produce.
Free parking is available along Church Street and at the parking deck next to the Douglasville Conference Center.
