Marvin Frazier Taylor, Sr., 72, Dies
The funeral service will be Sunday, Aug. 25, at 3p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Darrell Johns officiating.

Marvin Frazier Taylor, Sr., 72 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21. He was born Feb. 14, 1941 in Stephens County, GA.
Mr. Taylor was the retired owner of Drywall Contractors and a member of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Sue Taylor and his father James R. Taylor.

He is survived by his son, Marvin ‘Junior’ Taylor and his wife Juanita; daughter, Darla Sue Carr and husband David; son, Perry O. Taylor; son, Jon R. Taylor; daughter, Laura E. Maddern and husband Chuck; mother of his children, Sue Taylor; grandchildren, Heather Blair and husband Jeffrey, Cody Carr, Austen Taylor, Katie Taylor; great-grandchild, Lizzie Maddern; mother, Katie Elizabeth Taylor; sisters, Jean Newborn and husband Jackie, Jeanette Clay and husband David, Gaynelle Taylor, Theresa Ronig and husband Ken; brother, Roger Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, Aug. 25, at 3p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Darrell Johns officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
