Mary Irene (Stead) Radler, 86, Dies

Mary Irene (Stead) Radler, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Aug. 25, with her family in attendance.

Born in Philadelphia on July 15, 1927, she was raised in New Jersey where she met her future husband.  Married in 1946 to Fred J. Radler, they relocated as newlyweds to South Florida where they spent the next 53 years. In 2000, Mary and Fred retired to their son Fred Jr.’s home in Douglasville. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband and together they spent many pleasurable weekends at their weekend home in the Florida Keys. 

Awaiting her in Heaven is her husband of 62 years Fred, her son Donald, her five siblings and her parents.  Survivors include her sons Fred Jr. and Larry David and his wife Shirley; seven grandchildren [Sheri Radler, Michael Radler, Leslie Gilley, Capt. Brian Radler, USMC, Lauri Marlin Cribben, David Radler, Garrett Radler], ten great grandchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
