Memorial Day originally known as Decorations Day was created to honor those who lost their lives at war in the service of the United States of America. I am grateful to those men and women who have risked and lost their lives for the freedoms I get to enjoy each day. This wonderful holiday also normally signifies the beginning of summer. A season associated with freedom among young and old alike.
