A man from Lithia Springs and a woman from Villa Rica were arrested Thursday on drug trafficking charges in Kershaw County, South Carolina.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — A man from Lithia Springs and a woman from Villa Rica were arrested Thursday on drug trafficking charges and may face federal charges in an operation, deputies say, was being run out of a Kershaw County, South Carolina, house.

Anthony Scott Chosewood, 33, and Jasmine Lenamay Dickover, 32, are each charged with trafficking methamphetamine, the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office said Monday. Chosewood also faces a charge of possession of marijuana, second offense.

Kershaw authorities gathered information for more than a year about drug trafficking at a home in Kershaw County, Chief Deputy Jack Rushing said. Narcotics investigators maintained surveillance on the house and made a traffic stop Thursday, when they saw Chosewood leaving in a Mercedes-Benz with Dickover as a passenger.
