New Search at Hunter Park for Larry Bolen
Search for missing teacher will remain open pending any new leads, according to Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Nearly 100 law enforcement personnel searched Hunter Park on Thursday in the latest attempt to locate Larry Bolen, a Douglas County teacher missing since May 2015.
Bolen, 62, was last seen at his home in Douglasville. His vehicle was found days later at Hunter Park. Previous searches of the area did not reveal any leads, according to a Douglas County release.
The search Thursday included nearly 100 participants from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Douglasville City Police Department, the Douglas County Fire Department, as well as volunteers from several K-9 and Mounted Horse search and rescue teams from different areas of Georgia.

Teams searched nearly 500 acres of wooded and open areas around the park, checking some areas twice.
The latest search did not yield any leads, but the case will remain open pending any new leads or information that arises.
