Notice Of Temporary Bridge Closure And Detour-Riverside Parkway

The City of Douglasville issues a notice of temporary bridge closure and detour at Riverside Parkway over Sweetwater Creek.

As part of the PI0015072 project identified as the Riverside Parkway Bridge Rehabilitation project, there will be a bridge closure and subsequently a detour from October 4th, 2021 until October 11th, 2021.

Message boards and directional signage will be placed on and around the project site to notify all traffic. Please follow the detour signs when traveling the area.
The project will be completed in its entirety on or before February 25th, 2022.

During the duration of the project, please visit the City of Douglasville’s website for project updates.
