Search Continues For Interstate 20 Armed Robber

More photos, details about the robber, who robbed two stores in Douglas County, have emerged.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Law enforcement agencies west of Atlanta along the Interstate 20 line continued their hunt Friday for a man believed to have robbed four different stores at gunpoint.

New photos were released of the suspect, who authorities say began by robbing three stores — two in Douglas County and one in Bremen — on Sunday.

The same suspect is then believed to have robbed the Dollar General store in Temple, which also straddles Haralson and Carroll counties, on Wednesday in a similar manner, police say.

In Douglas County, the Marathon convenience store on Lee Road at Interstate 20 was robbed, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said Friday. The Douglasville Police Department would not confirm the name of the business that was robbed within Douglasville city limits.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s or 50s with graying hair, a medium build and appearing to stand around 5'10 to 6' tall.

He was seen entering a 4-door sedan, that is champagne, gold or pewter in color and with a sunroof.
