Sherrod & Bernard, P.C. Selected as Small Business of Excellence

The Douglas County Chamber recognized nine businesses at Thursday's Chamber luncheon, as 2013 Small Businesses of Excellence. Each was recognized for successful operations and growth as well as service in the community. 

Douglasville Patch is featuring the nine businesses that were honored. Today we feature Sherrod & Bernard P.C.

John Sherrod accepted the award on behalf of the firm. "I'm thrilled for my firm to be recognized by the Chamber," he said. "It's definitely a team effort. Every member of our firm is very deserving with all of the hard work they put in daily."

Sherrod & Bernard, P.C., located at 8470 Price Avenue, is a full service litigation firm with an emphasis on personal injury, wrongful death, worker’s compensation, special matters, and government litigation. Sherrod & Bernard partners have tried cases throughout Georgia; have been selected to serve on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Georgia; and taught trial techniques to other lawyers throughout the southeast. 

Its partners and staff have served the community, region and state in a variety of capacities, including the Board of Regents, the University System of Georgia Foundation, Inc., the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, the Marine Corp Association of Georgia Lawyers, Southern Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and Georgia Bar Association.
