DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A short film shooting in Douglasville next week is looking for background extras.
Filming locations for “The Invention of Matthias Walden” include the Douglasville Conference Center, Wyndham Atlanta Galleria Hotel and Sam and Roscos Restaurant.

- All extras must be able to work as locals.
- Shoot dates are from Jan. 13-17.
- All ages ranging from 20+. All ethnicities.
- Extras must be able to come camera ready.
- Extras must have flexible availability on shoot days.
- Food and film credit will be provided.
“This is an unpaid gig,” notes the bureau.
They’re looking for about 5 extras for the hotel scene Jan. 13, about 30 extras for the conference center Jan. 16 and about 10 extras for Jan. 17.
