The Public Services Department will be suspending services the week of Monday, August 10. Unfortunately, the Department has potentially been exposed to COVID-19. The exposure did not occur during a sanitation route.

Out of an abundance of caution, Public Services staff is being tested and are under a 10-day quarantine awaiting results.
Suspended Services:

- All Residential Solid Waste and Yard Waste Pickup
- No right of way mowing
- General roadway maintenance
Services that will Continue to Operate:
- Commercial Front-load Services will continue operations
- Commercial Roll-off and Compactor Service will continue operations
- Downtown Douglasville Solid Waste for our Commercial Business District will continue operations
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this brief suspension of services is meant to protect the health and wellbeing of City of Douglasville employees and members of the Douglasville community.
