DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office's four-legged officers have been busy lately.

Last week, the K-9 unit hosted more than 100 attendees from throughout the Southeast for a workshop in Douglasville.

And, since then, members have visited several local schools, teaching students about how canine officers assist their two-legged counterparts with jobs like sniffing out drugs and pursuing fugitives.
