Teen Victim Identified in Fatal Wreck
One driver was killed in the wreck and three other teens were injured.
A Chapel Hill High School student died Wednesday night in a wreck on Ga. 5, and three other teens were injured, according to reports.
Joshua Murphy 16, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the AJC. He was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on Ga. 5 when his car appears to have struck a second Malibu heading south.

“What appears now is that the northbound vehicle, for some reason, lost control and steered over into oncoming traffic southbound,” Cpl. Michael Land with Georgia State Patrol told WSB-TV.
The driver of the second vehicle, Darien Whitfield, 17, was injured, along with two passengers. All were taken to area hospitals.

There were no signs that drugs or alcohol played a part in the wreck.
